Geometallurgy’s main objective is to add economic value to the exploitation of mineral resources through the timely delivery of information and modeling of relevant geological and metallurgical variables.
A rigorous planning process of mining and processing of any mineral deposit, including relevant risks mitigation cannot be achieved without understanding the finished value chain geology-mining-metallurgy.
- Identify and analyze the best practices used in the integration of geological, mining and metallurgical data and its subsequent modeling.
- Promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the study of the geological and metallurgical key information to use it in the mining business.
- Develop an international network of collaboration and technical exchange among professionals working on geometallurgy.
