IIT (ISM) ENVIS Centre (RP) today organized the valedictory function of the 2 months GSDP Certificate Course on Pollution Monitors (Air & Water). Prof. Rajiv Shekhar, Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He congratulated the GSDP participants and wished them all a prosperous future for themselves and also for their country by contributing to the society with the knowledge they gained during this 2 months certificate course.
Prof. S.K. Gupta, ENVIS Coordinator congratulated the GSDP participants and told them about the various initiatives that the govt. is taking towards a better environment and urged the participants to make themselves useful by contributing towards these initiatives.
Dr. Vipin Kumar, ENVIS Co-coordinator and GSDP Training In-charge gave a brief report on this 2 months GSDP course and told the GSDP participants that learning is a never ending process and whenever they need any help they are always welcome to the IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre.
Few GSDP participants shared their experiences and how this course helped them gain knowledge on various aspects of Air and Water Pollution during this 2 months. Certificates were awarded to the GSDP participants by the Chief Guest, Prof. Rajiv Shekhar.
At the end Dr. M.K. Jain, Associate Professor, proposed vote of thanks to the Director of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, for approving and providing the facilities for successfully conducting this 2 months certificate course, all the faculty members and technical staffs for their untiring effort for taking in total of 260 hrs of Theoretical and Practical classes by taking out time from their busy academic schedule, the Staffs of ENVIS Centre for their day and night effort, the GSDP participants for their sincerity and punctuality in attending the classes and at last but not the least he expressed his gratitude towards MoEF&CC for believing and assigning this task of Green Skilling to IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre.
