Webinar held at CCL

A webinar on the different aspects of vigilance related matters was organized in Central Coalfields Limited as a part of celebration of vigilance awareness week. The webinar was attended virtually by the employees of CCL HQ and the various operational areas.

 

In this sequence, a 'webinar' was organized today. The main objective of this webinar was to sensitize the employees and officers on various aspects related to Delegation of Power (DoP), Tendering Process and PIDPI. The webinar was presided over by Atul Kumar, General Manager (Vigilance). The keynote speaker of the webinar was Sanjay Kumar Singh, Technical Secretary, Director (Finance).

 

Sanjay Kumar discussed new DoP, GST, Bill Payment etc. in detail during the webinar. He threw light on the new and revised provisions of DoP and elaborated on the salient features to be kept in mind regarding DoP while discharging one’s duty.

 

He said that we should strictly follow the various manuals issued by Coal India from time to time.

 

Earlier, Chief Manager (Mining) Bimal Kumar and Chief Manager (Systems) Om Prakash discussed the tender process and the Public Interest Disclosure and Informants Protection Resolution 2004 (PIDPI) respectively.

 

The Vigilance awareness week is being observed from 26/10/2020 to 01/11/2020 throughout the country. A plethora of activities like live painting, essay competition, slogan competitions etc are being undertaken by CCL at its HQ Ranchi and across its operational areas to celebrate this occasion. The theme of this year’s celebration is "Independent India @75: Self Reliance with Integrity"

 

The program was organized with the active cooperation of General Manager (Vigilance) Atul Kumar, Deputy Manager Shashank Sharan, Shilpa and their team.
