He has about 22 years of Teaching, Research, HRD/Consultancy. He has completed 6 R&D projects sponsored by MOEF, World Bank and MHRD. He has published about 131 Research papers, edited 9 books and guided 15 Ph.D students. He is conferred with Subarna and Sashibhusan Memorial Award (2002-2003), National Mineral Award (2001), Bala Tandan Award of the MGMI (2000) and J.N.Panda Memorial Award, IE(s) (1995). He is a Member of Editorial Advisory Boards of several journals and life member of 10 professional bodies. |

Dr. Maiti has 17 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Environmental Science & Engg. He has established Environmental Ecology & Microbiology Lab in the Centre facilitates with sophisticated microscopes with image capturing & analysis system for Mycorrhiza studies. He has undertaken various consultancy and R&D projects sponsored by Coal S&T, MOC; MOEF in the area of bioreclamation of mined out areas, fly ash and other metallic waste, dust attenuation by tree, withering of trees in OB dumps etc. He has guided 1 Ph.D and 15 M.Tech students. |
